Key Club is the oldest and largest service program for high school students. What makes Key Club so successful is the fact that it is a student-led organization that teaches leadership through serving others. As members of the Kiwanis International family, Key Club members build themselves as they build their schools and communities.
Today, Key Club exists in 30 countries on more than 5,000 high school campuses. With approximately 250,000 members, it has grown significantly around the world.
Key Club International is an organization made up of individual Key Clubs and is funded by nominal dues paid by every member. It has provided more than 12 million hours of service to homes, schools, and communities each year since 1925. In 1976, Key Club changed its motto from “We Build”, that of its parent organization, to “Caring – Our Way of Life” because it more clearly conveyed members’ reasons for helping others.
Key Clubs on campuses around the world are effecting change daily, creating hope and positive change with every service project at each home, school and community. With your support, Ransom Everglades Key Club will continue to embody the spirit of Key Club as one of the most active clubs on campus!
